"This is a well-balanced, layered and drinkable Cab at a casual drinking price. A lovely nose of fresh rhubarb, plum, currant, scrubby Aussie bush plants, tobacco leaf and eucalyptus leads to a powerful yet restrained palate. There's a bit of sweet oak and dusty, spicy tannins in the mouth, but neither weighs down the juicy currant fruit or crunchy acidity. This would be a knockout with grilled lamb." — Christina Pickard
